I, me and myself

I, me and myself

And I saw him in the mirror
His looks deceived of being superior
A smirk to show how filthy inferior
I am in front of him, my egoistic exterior
I wonder who created my alter ego
Is it me,  my words and rhymes, my rhythms and beats
or my repeated failures and rampant defeats
a cope up mechanism, you can say so
But I detest that fellow, my ego
for making me inferior
for being so superior
And now I am a prisoner of my own device
a helpless soul traped within this vice
Hence I urge you my critics to come and break that ice.
