The roses in my world

The roses in my world look beautiful
A fallen pair of stars on its bosom
Tempted to take one of them, the roses
But indeed a burden to some

The roses in my world look beautiful
But they have the thorns with them
Afraid to ask one of them
Afraid to look and to drool

The roses in my world look beautiful
But I have the gossamer of clouds
The gush of light that you blush
But only splinters of them reach about

The roses in my world look beautiful
But I do stay away from your gown
Asked my heart to beat in its confines
For I see dried blood on the thorns
